O Lord, I want to be humble. Help me to be humble. But if I think I am being humble for telling you I want to be humble and for asking your help to be humble, forgive me for not being humble. But if I think I am being humble by recognizing that I am not humble and that I need forgiveness for asking you to help me to be humble, Lord still help me to be humble. So I ask you to help me to be humble knowing that I am not being humble by asking you to help me to be humble. But kowing that I know that I am not being humble by asking you to help me to be humble does not make me humble.
Oh my sin runs so deep. I cannot even know the deception of my own heart. Thank you O Lord that I am not my own judge, but you are the one who will one day judge the secrets of men by Christ Jesus!
