I have decided to sign off from View Of The Other World for a long while. It may be indefiinte or it may just be a long break. I took a break from blogging in July and really enjoyed it. In all honesty, as a man with a wife, 3 kids (all aged 4 and under), with a full time job, a 1hr round trip commute to work, and quite active in the local Church, I am having to slow down and cut out a lot of things. I just don't have the time. I have blogged about the busy-ness of American society and have sadly found myself sucked into the very vortex which I so detest. For a while now, blogging has just been that "other thing" that keeps my mind occupied with things other than that which is more or most important, God and family. Even if I don't make posts every day, just having the lingering thought in my mind "you've got to blog about this!" occupies too much of my brain. I want to scale back my internet usage in general as well, not just my blogging. I want to return to having more time with my family, prayer, and even other extra-curricular activities which I enjoy so much more than blogging. I am going to hang up my blogging spurs now, but if I somehow have the time, I might take them down and kick the ole' horse a little (or in this case the Hard Drive). A big thanks to all my followers, to all those who graciously granted this little blogger such grand interviews, and most of all to my Lord, Jesus Christ-to Him be glory both now and forever.
