I was eating a pastrami sandwich with my manager, Ethan, when our conversation turned to the topic of his private driving range. He mentioned that he hated losing balls off the sides of the range, which struck me as strange.
Turns out he doesn't have golf netting. He said it seemed pricey to buy and install. I argued that the price was probably statistically worth it based on the amount you'd get sued for if you gave someone a head injury. We crunched the numbers, and suffice to say that Ethan is getting the netting. It's great when the facts work out your way.
